This Standard Document also transmutes an amount of community property, which may include cash or other liquid assets, equal in value to the value of the transmuted property on the date of the transmutation into the separate property of the other spouse. This Standard Document is designed to be used when a married couple desires to transmute only a portion of their property and also provides that all future growth and income from the transmuted property will remain the separate property of the spouse to whom the property was transmuted.
