Some New Orleans permits and licenses are available beginning today on the city’s One Stop app public portal.
The One Stop Shop for Permits & Licensing, which includes the Vieux Carre Commission, Historic Districts Landmarks Commission, City Panning Commission and the Department of Safety and Permits, closed to the public each Wednesday beginning in February. It will reopen Aug. 26.
The public may begin accessing the online site for building permits, sign permits, trade permits (including electrical and mechanical permits) and some permits related to streets and sidewalks. The permits also can be applied for via email.
If a permit or license is not available on the portal, it can here.
